Animation Showreel

Trauma and Repercussions

For the Final Major Project, we were each allowed to pick our own theme and for 12 weeks explore and develop it into a final animation. I chose 'Trauma and Repercussions' as an exploration in how trauma mentally shapes the human mind. This was one of the hardest and most personal projects I've made but through my extensive research and artistic experiments, I created a 2D animation I'm truly proud of.

Synthesis Blue

The brief for this assignment was to research opening sequences of TV shows, specific studios and how they made them and eventually creating our own. My chosen studio was Momoco, who created various openings for British sci-fi shows including Misfits, The Sparticle Mystery and Humans (Channel 4). Inspired by them, I created an opening for a fictional sci-fi drama called Synthesis Blue.

Catt and Bunny

Our brief was to research our intended audience's needs and interests and create an animation based on our research to appeal to them. Our primary audience was Gen Alpha, so I created a colourful 3D kid's animation. This is a short scene of Catt giving Bunny her first hopping lesson.

Regeneration

For our final animation our theme was "regeneration". I researched both the terms biological and scientific definitions for months by creating different concepts of how I could respond to the title. My finished result was a 2D animation of stem cell inspired characters, going though regeneration in a spiritual journey.

Baking Family

This stop motion animation was our first group project. We drafted a short story of a dessert themed family who run into trouble trying to bake a cake. We made the characters and set by hand using cardboard, plasticine and acrylic paint.

Hi ♡
I'm Jenna and I'm a 2D artist and animator from East London. 2000s-2010s fashions, video games and music were my escape as a kid and the world I return to when I create. My goal is to share some of that with you.
I'm currently working towards getting into video game art, illustration and animation. If you have any questions or opportunities, feel free to email me.
